Based in Meltham on the outskirts of Huddersfield and Holmfirth the hotel was built in 1870 and was once the private residence of Huddersfield entrepreneur Sir David Brown, once owner of iconic Aston Martin which is still reflected in his name being immortalised with the Aston Martin DB.
For the past 40 years it has been a popular hotel & wedding venue and proves to be a popular getaway for families, couples and groups of travellers all keen to enjoy a tranquil stay on the edge of one of the UK’s largest national parks, The Peak District.
